Clown City Update 🤡
“Stay home” has been a consistent theme throughout her tenure.
“Any vote coming out of the South Side for somebody not named Lightfoot is a vote for Chuy García or Paul Vallas,” the mayor said. “If you want them controlling your faith and your destiny, then stay home. Then don’t vote.”
As usual, what sounded good at the time, doesn’t after 2 seconds of thinking it through.
After a swift social media backlash, Lightfoot’s campaign released a statement Saturday evening declaring that she “urges every Chicagoan to exercise their rights and get out to vote,” a reversal from her prior statement.
No doubt, she’s been good for the T-shirt business with statements like this. More on that below.

Sideshow Body Count
A couple of weeks ago we posted a video from a sideshow where a young woman was accidentially runover. This weekend saw three killed while partaking in similar nonsense.
CWB has the slightly south of their main jurisdiction story:
An 18-year-old Aurora man is in custody after a car he was allegedly driving slammed into a pole and burst into flames, killing three of his passengers, according to a Chicago Police Department source. Video of the crash scene, recorded by a passing motorist, showed a trail of fire leading up to the vehicle’s wreckage as a person ran from the scene. (full story)
If this pace keeps up, we’ll have to look into tracking it.
Pandering Update
With the mayoral election a little more than a week away, the pandering is getting desperate.
“Hey Siri, show me a video of someone who has never spread salt before… “
Not sure what the “Plow The Sidewalks” program is, but we’re fairly confident that one doesn’t “plow” a sidewalk nor “season” any sort of pavement like it’s a New York strip steak.
Stay Home, Don’t Vote
As you were told above, if you cannot vote correctly next Tuesday, please stay home and don’t vote. However, if you do plan on storming your local polling place, dress accordingly.
