Clown City Election Update 🤡
The only story of late is the mayoral election and the final poll result is out.
Strange. This poll is much tighter than our poll which had Vallas at 84%, Johnson at 4% and none of the above pulling 10%. One of us is wrong.
The internals likely line up with how most would think, at least how we’d think they’d line up anyway.
Our final hot take here is that we see Vallas barely besting Johnson by no more than 2-3%. We’d be cautiously optimistic but a bit skeptical with a Vallas administration. It wouldn’t surprise us at all to be let down in the end or sooner. As for a Johnson administration, he would be a Lightfoot 2.0 doubling and tripling down on the worst of the worst ideas. Anyone not all-in and virtue signaling their hardest would be labeled an ist-a-phobe to some degree or another as they are now with Lori. However, he would certainly keep us busy as our data set would balloon faster than our governor at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Plus, the t-shirts and other merch would be amazing!
All Dicks Must Come To An End
Speaking of amazing t-shirts, we’ve knocked $5 off one of our most popular tees as a thank you for a solid third place finish. Congrats Lori!
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading. Our goal is to push out one long form post a week in addition to our regular stats focused posts. Thanks and remember “We don't want nobody nobody sent”.
The Clown City election comes down to Left and Far Left. The only loser in the election will be the citizens of Chicago. Might as well elect BJ so that the destruction can be completed and perhaps some rebuilding can occur, assuming anyone's left to rebuild.
