Memorial Day Weekend

The Summer of Joy 2 has arrived! Starting this weekend and for the next 100 days, be prepared to experience more silly decisions than one thought could be humanly possible. Please, no demonizing.

Don’t Demonize Tuesday
Cancelled due to mishandling of stress
Clown City Update 🤡
From the department of “Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” – North Avenue Beach was officially open for mere hours before the usual dimwitted retards with no impulse control decided it would be best to try and shoot up the place because reasons.

CWB has the details that were forgotten by the following day:
Memorial Day is off to an ominous start as Chicago police investigate shots fired at North Avenue Beach on Friday afternoon. No injuries were immediately reported.
Officers assigned to the beach reported a fight near the boathouse at the south end of the beach around 1:25 p.m. Within seconds, the officers reported shots being fired.
At least two people were detained for questioning, a 15-year-old boy who may have been the gunman and another person who was found with two firearms during a street stop nearby. (Full story)

Jagoffs wearing sweats and hoodies at the beach are rarely the hallmark of a true beachgoer.
The Stress of Mishandling Stress
Anyone paying attention for the last x-number of years will give the side-eye to any politician yammering on about a not-so-new-but-it’s-new-to-me “anti-violence” strategy where millions will be set ablaze with zero accountability or measure for success. At least they'll get the warm and fuzzies over knowing they said the right sequence or words at the right time.
That all sounds super until one of the chosen few can’t quit old habits.
A Chicago man wearing a neon yellow “peacekeepers” vest helped a group of people beat and rob a motorist in Little Village on Friday night, according to a Chicago Police Department report. The allegations come after city and state officials lauded the use of “peacekeepers” as a tool they would deploy over the Memorial Day weekend to tamp down violence across the city.
Oscar Montes, 31, was held without bail by Judge Maryam Ahmad on charges of robbery, aggravated battery, and unlawful vehicular invasion Sunday afternoon.
The trouble began around 10:55 p.m. as Chicago police officers saw a large group fighting near 23rd Place and Washtenaw. Additional CPD units were sent to stabilize the situation.
But less than five minutes after officers cleared up from that incident, CPD surveillance officers reported that a group of people had pulled a man from a car and started beating him, a police report said. (Full story)
Of course, what would a story like this be without the usual cadre of rationalizers:
Oye.
How Hiring
Speaking of “mishandled the stress”, lighten your stress load with a hastily designed t-shirt and do your part to thwart silly deeds and force a reevaluation of eminent poor life decisions amongst our arthritic-addled youth. There are three different versions to choose from because we can’t put the pencil down.
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading. Our goal is to push out one long form post a week in addition to our regular stats focused posts. Thanks and remember “We don't want nobody nobody sent”.
BLM BJ must be so happy. His constituents are enjoying the summer.
Love the Stitch n go.
